NAIOP is a proud co-sponsor of the Boston Foundation's John LaWare Leadership Forum. The Forum is a series of conversations among business and civic leaders about Greater Boston’s key challenges and opportunities. It honors the legacy of an exemplary business and civic leader, John LaWare, who served on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, and as Chairman and CEO of Shawmut Bank, who passed away in 2005.
Led by Federal Reserve Bank President Cathy Minehan, Sovereign Bank; Chairman John Hamill, and Boston Foundation President and CEO Paul S. Grogan, the Forum was created in reponse to an emerging consensus among researchers and business leaders about the competitive challenges facing Greater Boston and the Commonwealth. The Forum builds on excellent work and initiatives already underway, stimulates cross-sectoral dialogue, and aims to align the region’s civic, business, government and community leadership on shared goals and strategies.
