Building Up Downtown Crossing
After many delays and false starts, Downtown Crossing is poised to be transformed into a 24/7 mixed-use neighborhood. Construction of new residential towers and the opening of several unique retail concepts are now underway along Washington Street. While new ownership is breathing life into the Filene’s development, the city’s Business Improvement District is taking initiatives to enhance the overall image and experience of the area.
Join us at the recently redeveloped Paramount Theater at Emerson College to hear from panelists who are responsible for planning, developing and transforming this city center. Learn about what makes Downtown Crossing a unique neighborhood and what is allowing the transformation, as well as more on the prominent ongoing development projects.
