NAIOP @ Night: The Speedway
The first NAIOP @ Night of 2022 will be held at The Speedway, a long-neglected historic location which has been transformed into a dynamic marketplace. Located on Western Avenue in Brighton, historic buildings and their central courtyard have been redeveloped by the Architectural Heritage Foundation (AHF) in partnership with the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Historic Curatorship Program into a vibrant, dynamic marketplace to enjoy local food and drink, shop for artisan goods, gather, work and create.
Hear from Sean McDonnell, AHF President, and Christopher Nielson of Bruner/Cott Architects about how this project came to be and what the future holds for this commercial and cultural gateway to Allston-Brighton and the Charles River. Then, network and make new connections while enjoying snacks from local businesses and beverages from Notch Brewing.
